Robyn Henwood has been designing, painting and hand printing on fabrics for more than 25 years. She opened Sheoak Design Studio in 2003 and from there she designs and prints a range of scarves, ties and textile wall pieces that are painted, printed, dyed and manipulated.

She goes often to Uluru in Central Australia as Artist in Residence, and there collects images and ideas for art pieces and a small range of scarves and ties in natural fibres.

From Sheoak Design Studio Robyn also teaches a range of Textile and Design classes including
Silk Painting,
Polychromatic Silk Printing,
Natural Dyeing,
Introduction to Design for Textiles,
Printing on Velvet,
Lino Block Printing for Textiles Simple Screen Printing Ideas
Shibori and Natural Dyes
Shibori and Indigo Dyeing

She is willing to work at short notice with small group workshops, whose participants will all be able to produce a textile piece.
